MB DeoTrex-30
Sachets
Description:
MB DeoTrex-30 Sachets are a chlorine
dioxide-based, controlled sustained release (CSR) deodorizing
pouch. This patented, innovative powder technology opens a realm of
applications for the safe, effective use of chlorine dioxide, a
potent biocide that attacks odors at their source.
MB DeoTrex-30 Sachets feature
Aseptrol® powders, a patented controlled sustained release
technology, that allows precise control of the concentration,
strength and rate of release of chlorine dioxide. This unique
capability enables the expanded use of the powerful biocide in a
wide variety of applications that previously were impractical.
Aseptrol® powders solve these problems by delivering chlorine
dioxide in a safe, stable, easy-to-use and cost-effective form.
Aseptrol® powders are impregnated at selected sites with
proprietary activators that combine with chlorite salt contained in
the powder to generate chlorine dioxide. Un-reactive in their dry
form, Aseptrol® powders produce chlorine dioxide only when exposed
to moisture in the ambient atmosphere or when coming into contact
with water. After the chlorine dioxide is released and activated,
the material safely reduces into common salts, not potentially
carcinogen organic compounds or other harmful chlorine byproducts
are generated.
In MB DeoTrex-30’s CSR powder sachet format, chlorine dioxide
begins to work immediately upon exposure to ambient water vapor,
selectively seeking out and destroying unpleasant and unwanted
odors at their source. Unlike conventional deodorizers, which
absorb or cover up odors with fragrances, MB DeoTrex-30 Sachets
deodorize effectively by oxidizing such compounds as animal and
human wastes, hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg odor), mercaptans,
organic amines, and odors produced by mold, mildew, tobacco smoke,
and spoiled food.
MB DeoTrex-30 Sachets have a long shelf life, remain stable prior
to use and are easy to activate.
Use Directions:
The user simply opens the package,
hangs, places or adheres the sachet in the area to be deodorized,
and the unwanted odor disappears.
Chlorine dioxide, a potent biocide, has been used for many years to
disinfect municipal water and in numerous other large-scale
applications. Only recently, however, has it been made in a dry
form designed for use in smaller applications.
